Tonight, my family (minus my mother, brother-in-law and Javi) and my brother's girlfriend all played Uno Attack. During one particularly tense (noisy, as usual) round, we spent over thirty minutes discussing one sentence: "A player may not go out on a Trade Hands card."
Thirty looong minutes. And believe me, that wasn't the only rule (or sentence) that we argued about. We probably only played three rounds in four hours. It gave me perspective on why it would take so long for hearings etc. in Congress and the Senate. I mean, if you can argue for thirty minutes on one single sentence, how much can you spend arguing whole laws?
La lang.
Side note: I is excited. Prolly getting a terabyte HD tomorrow. sdjfklasljfs d

And of course, I posted here... Just so I wouldn't feel so hypocritical about that feature article lamenting the rise of microblogging ((which probably means the decline of patience due to that 20th-21st century belief: "If it's not fast, quick, and easy, it's not worth it"))... Too much.

I love that building you donated and all... But your internet services suck.
But I wouldn't have minded if your CSRs weren't giving us such bullshit reasons for everything. First they blamed windows, and then now they tell us it's some nationwide problem and that all the service providers are having problems, but my sister's house is just a couple of minutes away, and her Sky broadband is fine so you can't even say it's some weird local shit going on. :\
I wonder if PLDT even bothered testing out the new system on key areas before letting it loose. :\ I guess this is just one of those times wherein this still rings true, "Old can still be better than new."
Ugh. Sorry. This is probably just me and my internet withdrawal bitchiness. :|
